Job Title: RN – Med/Surg (Adult)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor progress, and support safe recovery.
Responsibilities
- Assess adult patients and monitor changes in condition.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care.
- Assist with procedures and daily patient care needs.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of adult medical-surgical patient care.
- BLS certification required or preferred based on facility requirements.
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay Rate
$70,000.00 - $104,000.00/year
