Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Unit
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Unit to provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions while ensuring patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to medical patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform patient assessments and promptly identify changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Strong knowledge of medical nursing, patient assessment, medication administration, and acute care practices.
- Previous Medical Unit, Med-Surg, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$55.13 - $60.01/hour
