Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Registered Nurse (Medical RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. The Medical RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments.
  • Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, laboratory results, and response to treatment.
  • Perform wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Educate patients and families regarding medications, disease management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Unit, Medical-Surgical, or Acute Care nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of patient assessment, medication administration, chronic disease management, and medical nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$55.13 - $60.01/hour
