RN LDRP/OB
Position Summary
We are seeking a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP/OB) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period. The RN will monitor maternal and fetal conditions, support deliveries, administer treatments, and provide education to patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and clinical changes.
- Provide care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians and other providers during deliveries and procedures.
- Recognize and respond to maternal or fetal complications and emergencies.
- Provide postpartum and newborn care as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on labor, recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatric providers, anesthesia staff, and the healthcare team.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and obstetric care standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous LDRP, labor and delivery, obstetric, or postpartum experience preferred.
- Strong maternal-fetal assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
- BLS and NRP certification preferred or required based on role requirements; ACLS as applicable.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
