Job Title: RN – LDRP/OB
Position Summary
We are seeking an LDRP/OB Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to women throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods. The RN will monitor mothers and newborns, assist with deliveries, administer treatments, and provide patient and family support.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries and procedures.
- Provide postpartum and newborn care.
- Recognize and respond to maternal or fetal complications.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- LDRP, Labor & Delivery, or OB nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of maternal, fetal, and newborn care.
- BLS and NRP certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Ability to respond effectively to high-risk and emergency situations.
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
