Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care for patients across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and Antepartum units. The RN will deliver family-centered care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure exceptional maternal and neonatal outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care for antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using fetal heart monitoring and other assessment tools.
  • Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and provide immediate postpartum care.
  • Perform newborn assessments, stabilization, routine care, and patient education.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, epidurals, oxytocin, and other prescribed treatments.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to obstetric and neonatal emergencies.
  • Educate patients and families on labor, childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, postpartum recovery, and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
  • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, Antepartum, or Mother-Baby nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of maternal-child nursing, fetal monitoring, postpartum care, newborn care, and obstetric emergencies.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
