Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, high-quality care to patients in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The RN will care for patients who require closer monitoring and more complex nursing care than a general medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to IMCU patients based on individual care plans and clinical needs.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen levels, and changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
Assess patients and promptly report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and nursing records.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred/required based on facility requirements.
Previous acute care, IMCU, step-down, telemetry, or critical care experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
