Job Title: RN – ICU
Position Summary
We are seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to critically ill and unstable patients. The RN will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, manage critical care equipment, and work closely with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment.
- Assist with procedures and emergency interventions.
- Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Educate and support patients and families.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing and emergency procedures.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
