RN – Floor Nurse, Med-Surg Adult
Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients. The RN will assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, monitor clinical conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor vital signs, labs, and diagnostic results and report significant changes.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and hospital nursing standards.
- Respond appropriately to urgent and changing patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple adult patients in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
