RN - Float Pool
Position Summary
We are seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, high-quality patient care across multiple units and clinical settings. The RN will adapt to different patient populations, workflows, and care needs while supporting staffing and patient-care requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care across assigned units based on patient and staffing needs.
- Assess patients and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns.
- Assist with procedures and patient-care activities within scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families on treatments and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and patient-care standards.
- Adapt effectively to different units, patient populations, and clinical workflows.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous acute-care or hospital nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and patient-care settings.
- BLS certification; ACLS or other certifications as applicable.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
