Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) – Flex Pool to provide high-quality nursing care across multiple inpatient units based on staffing and patient care needs. The Flex Pool RN will deliver safe, patient-centered care, quickly adapt to different clinical environments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care across multiple assigned units, including medical-surgical, telemetry, step-down, or other specialty areas as needed
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments
  • Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, laboratory results, and responses to treatment
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
  • Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Follow unit-specific policies, workflows, and evidence-based nursing practices
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and patient safety standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred or required based on assigned units
  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple clinical units and adapt quickly to changing patient care needs
  • Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Pay Rate
$55.13 - $60.01/hour
