RN First Assist
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) to assist surgeons during operative procedures and provide safe, effective perioperative care to surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing direct operative support.
Prepare patients, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and follow surgical safety and infection prevention standards.
Assist with wound closure, hemostasis, tissue handling, and other surgical tasks within scope.
Monitor patient condition and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams.
Complete accurate documentation and support safe patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN license in the applicable state.
Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant (RNFA) program preferred/required.
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
Previous perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
