Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) to provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. The ED RN will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver timely, high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on patient acuity
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatment
  • Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, resuscitations, and life-saving interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies, code situations, and rapid response events
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-focused emergency care environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Current PALS certification preferred or required based on assignment
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) or acute care nursing experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of emergency nursing, trauma care, cardiac monitoring, and critical patient assessment
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred

Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
