Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinical Progressive Care Unit (CPCU)/Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring, telemetry, and medical-surgical care. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients with acute and complex medical conditions.
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, laboratory results, and response to treatment.
Perform wound care, catheter care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures.
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, disease management, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
Current BLS certification required.
Current ACLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Clinical Progressive Care Unit (CPCU), Medical-Surgical Telemetry, Step-Down, or Telemetry nursing preferred.
Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, medication administration, and patient assessment.
Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
