RN - CPCU (Med/Surg Tele)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiopulmonary Care Unit (CPCU) providing medical-surgical and telemetry care. The RN will monitor patients, administer treatments, manage cardiac and medical conditions, and provide safe, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients in the CPCU setting.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Provide care for cardiac, medical, and post-procedure patients.
- Perform wound care and other nursing procedures as required.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and patient-care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- CPCU, Med-Surg, telemetry, or acute-care experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms and telemetry changes.
- BLS and ACLS certification as applicable.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
