RN - Comprehensive Medical Unit
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Comprehensive Medical Unit to provide safe, high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor progress, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ physical and clinical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Provide wound care and other nursing procedures as required.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and patient-care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous medical-surgical or acute-care experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- BLS certification; ACLS as applicable.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
