Registered Nurse (RN) – Circulator
We are seeking a skilled and organized Registered Nurse Circulator to provide safe and efficient nursing care within the operating room. The RN Circulator will coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensure adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols, and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to support optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage patient care throughout the perioperative process
• Prepare the operating room, verify equipment and supplies, and ensure readiness for procedures
• Perform preoperative assessments and confirm surgical consents, site verification, and time-outs
• Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment while monitoring aseptic practices
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures
• Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to intraoperative needs or changes
• Document all perioperative nursing care accurately and timely
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient workflow
• Support post-procedure transitions and handoff communication
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in operating room or perioperative nursing preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and safety standards
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality perioperative care
Pay Rate
$62.75 - $67.63/hour
