Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiology Clinic
We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Clinic RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. The RN will perform assessments, support diagnostic and treatment services, provide patient education, and coordinate care with the cardiology team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and obtain medical histories and vital signs.
- Monitor patients with cardiac conditions and report changes in status.
- Assist with cardiac diagnostic tests and office-based procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Educate patients on medications, lifestyle changes, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, testing, and ongoing patient care.
- Review and communicate test results and clinical information as directed.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac symptoms or emergencies.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and privacy standards.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Cardiology, outpatient clinic, telemetry, or acute care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular conditions, medications, and cardiac monitoring.
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient education skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
