Registered Nurse – CA NTICU

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions in the Neuro/Trauma Intensive Care Unit. The RN will assess complex patient conditions, manage critical care therapies, monitor neurological status, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill and neurologically complex patients.
Monitor neurological status, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and hemodynamic parameters.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other critical care treatments.
Monitor patients receiving ventilatory, neurological, and other advanced life-support interventions.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in neurological and clinical condition.
Assist with emergency procedures and stabilization of critically ill patients.
Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow critical care, infection control, and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Previous ICU, Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU, or critical care experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate
$77.24 - $82.11/hour
