Registered Nurse – CA NTICU
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions in the Neuro/Trauma Intensive Care Unit. The RN will assess complex patient conditions, manage critical care therapies, monitor neurological status, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill and neurologically complex patients.
- Monitor neurological status, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and hemodynamic parameters.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other critical care treatments.
- Monitor patients receiving ventilatory, neurological, and other advanced life-support interventions.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in neurological and clinical condition.
- Assist with emergency procedures and stabilization of critically ill patients.
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow critical care, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Previous ICU, Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU, or critical care experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$77.24 - $82.11/hour
