Respiratory Therapist – Adult/Pediatrics/NICU
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The Respiratory Therapist will assess patient conditions, administer respiratory treatments, manage advanced life support equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
• Administer respiratory therapies, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and ventilator support.
• Operate and manage ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow oxygen systems, and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and other respiratory diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist with airway management and resuscitation.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, as required by state regulations.
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred or required based on patient population.
• Strong knowledge of adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care, ventilator management, and critical care practices.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Previous experience in adult critical care, pediatrics, NICU, or acute care respiratory therapy preferred.
Pay Rate
$56.76 - $61.64/hour
