Respiratory Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients with breathing difficulties and critical respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with respiratory conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, nebulization, and respiratory treatments.
- Manage and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Perform airway management and assist with intubation when required.
- Monitor oxygen saturation, ABGs, and other respiratory parameters.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the critical care team.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license/registration as required.
- Previous hospital or ICU experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care and critical care.
- Ventilator management and airway-management skills.
- Excellent patient assessment and clinical judgment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to respond calmly during emergencies.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
Pay Rate
$46.60 - $51.48/hour
