Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT)
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care and treatment to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with respiratory disorders.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments.
- Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gases (ABGs) and pulmonary function testing, as applicable.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist with airway management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Active Respiratory Therapist license as required by state regulations.
- RRT or CRT credential preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred based on patient population.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care, mechanical ventilation, and critical care.
- Previous hospital or acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$49.03 - $53.91/hour
