Respiratory Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. The Respiratory Therapist will assess patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and respiratory medications.
- Operate and manage ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and pulmonary function testing as needed.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist with airway management.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Active Respiratory Therapist license and RRT/CRT credential, as required.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred based on patient population.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and ventilator management.
- Previous acute care or hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$49.03 - $53.91/hour
