Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory & Neuro Diagnostics to provide comprehensive respiratory care and assist with neurological diagnostic procedures. The RRT will assess and treat patients with cardiopulmonary conditions, perform respiratory diagnostic testing, support neurodiagnostic procedures, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, evaluate, and monitor patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, nebulizer treatments, and other respiratory therapies
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory support equipment
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling, pulmonary function testing (PFT), and other respiratory diagnostic procedures
Assist with neurodiagnostic procedures such as EEG setup, evoked potential testing, sleep studies, or other neurological testing as assigned
Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and monitor patient safety throughout testing
Assist with airway management, intubation, extubation, bronchoscopy support, and emergency respiratory interventions
Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate significant changes to the healthcare team
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, equipment use, and disease management
Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and diagnostic reporting systems
Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Active, unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice (where required)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification required or preferred based on assignment
Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapy experience preferred
Experience with respiratory diagnostics, ventilator management, and cardiopulmonary care
Familiarity with neurodiagnostic testing or willingness to cross-train, depending on assignment
Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and patient care skills
Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred

Pay Rate
$55.46 - $60.34/hour
