Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to provide respiratory care and support to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Provide respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, airway management, and ventilator support as prescribed.
- Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic procedures as required.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with emergency airway management and cardiopulmonary emergencies.
- Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Active Respiratory Therapist (RT/RCP) license as required by state regulations.
- Current RRT credential from the NBRC preferred/required.
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred based on patient population.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care, ventilator management, airway management, and patient assessment.
- Previous acute care, ICU, or hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
