Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Position Summary
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary conditions. The therapist will assess patients, provide treatments, manage respiratory equipment, and work with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and monitor respiratory status.
- Provide respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered.
- Administer oxygen and respiratory medications.
- Manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Perform respiratory tests and treatments.
- Assist with airway management and emergency care.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow infection control and patient safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Active Respiratory Therapist license as required by the state.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or appropriate credential preferred or required.
- Previous respiratory care experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory treatments and equipment.
- Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$55.89 - $60.77/hour
