Respiratory Therapist (Resp Therapist)
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic breathing disorders across various clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and provide respiratory treatments as ordered.
- Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and respiratory medications.
- Manage and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Perform respiratory procedures, including airway management and suctioning.
- Monitor patients’ respiratory status and respond to changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust respiratory care plans.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current Respiratory Therapist license as required by the state.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification preferred/required based on facility needs.
- Previous acute-care or hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$55.89 - $60.77/hour
