Respiratory Therapist (RT)
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. The RT will assess patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments.
- Operate and manage ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment.
- Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient response to therapy.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist with airway management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow respiratory care protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Active Respiratory Therapist license and RRT/CRT credential, as required by state regulations.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred based on patient population.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, ventilator management, and patient care.
- Previous hospital, critical care, or acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$55.89 - $60.77/hour
