Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The RN will assess patient conditions, interpret cardiac rhythms, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a telemetry or step-down unit.
Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor cardiac rhythms via telemetry systems
• Interpret ECG rhythms and promptly report abnormalities or changes in patient status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Monitor vital signs and respond appropriately to clinical changes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Provide patient and family education regarding cardiac conditions, treatments, and recovery
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Ensure adherence to patient safety standards, infection control, and unit protocols
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
• Experience in telemetry, cardiac, step-down, or acute care nursing preferred
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and clinical assessment skills
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required per facility standards
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care
Pay Rate
$50.23 - $55.11/hour
