Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionateRegistered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join our surgical team. In this role, you will assist surgeons during surgical procedures, provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care, and help maintain a safe, sterile operating room environment. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the OR team to ensure high-quality patient care and successful surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons during surgical procedures as a Registered Nurse First Assistant.
Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
Maintain a sterile surgical environment and ensure patient safety.
Anticipate surgical team needs and handle surgical instruments appropriately.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff.
Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures.
Follow hospital policies and AORN standards of practice.

Requirements:

Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as RN
Current RNFA certification/completion of an accredited RNFA program.
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
COVID card or Medical / Religious Exemption.
Minimum 2 years of RNFA experience in an operating room or CVOR setting.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay Rate
$84.93 - $89.80/hour
