Staffing Ratios: 1:9 all shifts
Float Required: Y - other m/s unit
Weekend Coverage: EOW
# Weekend Shifts per Contract: either every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts/month
Locals Accepted? N - must be > 75 miles
Patient Diagnoses: This is a typical med/surg tele unit. Most pt.'s are elderly and consist of diseases of respiratory, cardiac, GI systems, neuro. Potential for ortho patients for overflow.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: The M/S units work on the Care Delivery Model and use "teams" of 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 PCT for up to 9 pt.'s. We also use "modified teams" when complete teams are not available.
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
Previous Charge Experience: preferred
Years of Experience Required: 2
Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: Y
Scrubs: navy blue and white-any combo of those colors
Pay Rate
$57.56 - $62.44/hour
