Job Title: Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide ongoing care to residents in a long-term care setting. The RN will assess residents, administer medications and treatments, monitor health conditions, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents and monitor changes in health conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered.
- Develop and update individualized care plans.
- Provide wound care and other nursing treatments.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate residents and families on care and treatment.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Support residents with compassionate and respectful care.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and patient safety.
- BLS certification required or preferred based on facility requirements.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
Pay Rate
$54.37 - $59.25/hour
