Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide specialized nursing care for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. The ICU RN will assess, monitor, and manage patients requiring intensive treatment while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized critical care plans.
  • Provide direct nursing care for critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
  • Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and other critical care equipment.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
  • Assist with bedside procedures and advanced life support interventions.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of critical care nursing, ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency response.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$52.44 - $57.31/hour
