RN Home Health
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Skilled Home Health position in New Port Richey, FL. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes, managing a variety of medical and post-operative conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes.
- Complete comprehensive patient assessments, including cardiopulmonary assessments.
- Provide post-operative nursing care.
- Perform wound care and Wound VAC management.
- Perform ABI compression dressing changes.
- Perform Foley catheter changes and provide catheter care.
- Perform staple and suture removal.
- Administer SQ and IM injections and medications.
- Perform blood glucose monitoring using a glucometer.
- Perform venipuncture and laboratory draws.
- Start and maintain IVs.
- Provide PICC line and Midline care, including dressing changes.
- Perform SQ port access and deaccess.
- Use a pro-time machine as needed.
- Must have valid drivers license and car to make home visits.
- Must be COVID vaccinated or with exemption form on file.
- Must have flu shot or declination and in both cases mandatory mask wearing at all times while at work.
- Based on the needs of the HomeCare office, the visits and hours will be self-scheduled
Pay Rate
$48.06 - $52.94/hour
