Patient Age Group - Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics
Staffing Ratios 1:4-5 all shifts
Patient Diagnoses: See all patients that present with any complaint to the Emergency room. Typical chief complaints: Chest pain, Shortness of Breath/Respiratory issue, Mental health Eval, OB/GYN emergencies, Sepsis, stroke, abd. pain, sprains/strains/fractures, trauma, cardiac arrest
Special Procedures/Unit Details: 27 bed ED, Rural Hospital, Primary Stroke Center, Seeking Trauma IV designation, SANE dedicated room & Forensic nurse o/c, 24/7 board certified ED providers, 24/7 Charge nurses, 24/7 Triage Nurse, 24/7 house supervisor coverage, 2 designated resuscitation rooms, 4 dedicated Mental health preferred rooms
ED combined Adult/Peds experience required
Required Skills: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration, CVA, Neuro - Trauma, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho-Trauma, Head injury, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of ABGs, Ventilated patients, Gunshot wounds, Isolation Precautions, Triage
Every Other Weekend Required
