Registered Nurse (RN) – Urgent Care
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide efficient and compassionate care to patients in an urgent care setting. The RN will assess patients, provide treatments, administer medications, assist with procedures, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, timely care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and obtain medical histories and vital signs.
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
- Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition.
- Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and urgent care protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous urgent care, emergency, or outpatient experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment, treatment, and emergency care.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
