RN - PCU
We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN for a Float Pool position in Atlanta, GA. The RN will float across PCU/IMCU floors caring for primarily cardiac patients. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3–4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to PCU/IMCU patients with varying levels of acuity.
- Care for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery (CTS).
- Monitor cardiac and telemetry patients.
- Manage cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
- Float to different PCU/IMCU floors as assigned.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility.
- Strong cardiac and telemetry experience.
- Experience managing cardiac drips preferred.
- AHA BLS and ACLS required.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a float pool environment.
- Badge-appropriate photo required for submission.
Pay Rate
$49.49 - $54.37/hour
