Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Position Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Monitor health conditions, administer treatments, coordinate care, and promote residents’ safety, comfort, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor resident conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status.
- Provide wound care and other skilled nursing interventions.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and ongoing healthcare needs.
- Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and care plans.
- Communicate changes in condition to providers and the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-control, patient safety, and long-term care standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and active RN license in the applicable state.
- Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong clinical, communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
