Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC)

Position Summary

Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Monitor health conditions, administer treatments, coordinate care, and promote residents’ safety, comfort, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor resident conditions.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status.
  • Provide wound care and other skilled nursing interventions.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living and ongoing healthcare needs.
  • Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and care plans.
  • Communicate changes in condition to providers and the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Follow infection-control, patient safety, and long-term care standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and active RN license in the applicable state.
  • Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Strong clinical, communication, assessment, and organizational skills.

Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
