Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients with urgent and emergency medical conditions. The RN will perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, administer treatments, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform rapid and comprehensive patient assessments and triage based on acuity.
  • Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
  • Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, and resuscitation.
  • Perform IV starts, specimen collection, wound care, and other nursing procedures.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with examinations and procedures.
  • Provide patient and family education, including discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and emergency department standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, technicians, and other members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited program.
  • Previous Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • PALS and/or TNCC certification preferred based on position requirements.
  • Strong emergency assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.

Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
