Registered Nurse – Chemotherapy
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse – Chemotherapy to provide specialized nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and other oncology treatments while ensuring safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients before, during, and after chemotherapy treatments.
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive medications according to established protocols.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions, side effects, and changes in condition.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, side effects, and symptom management.
Safely handle and dispose of hazardous medications according to established safety standards.
Maintain accurate treatment documentation and collaborate with oncologists and the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN license in the applicable state.
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy and biotherapy certification preferred or required as applicable.
Previous oncology, infusion, or chemotherapy nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, medication safety, communication, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
