Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The CVOR RN will assist with complex cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients and the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during open-heart and vascular surgeries.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures.
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and specialized cardiovascular equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of perioperative care.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and perioperative nursing practices.
• Excellent critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Previous Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) or cardiac surgery experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$85.37 - $90.24/hour
