Job Title: Physical Therapist – Inpatient Acute Care

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to provide inpatient acute care rehabilitation services across multiple hospital locations. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and monitor patient progress to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and assessments for acute care patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and discharge recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with all professional, regulatory, and facility standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience, preferably in an acute care or inpatient setting.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Schedule:

  • Day shifts with occasional weekend coverage.
  • Approximately 40 hours per week with scheduling flexibility based on department needs.
  • Work schedule may be split between multiple facilities within the healthcare system.
  • Employees will not be required to cover more than one facility in the same day.
  • Workdays may vary and may include one weekend day as part of a five-day work week.
  • Full weekly hours are guaranteed when scheduled shifts are completed.

Additional Information:

  • Holiday coverage may be required.
  • Flexibility to work at multiple locations within the health system is required.

Pay Rate
$57.42 - $62.30/hour
