Registered Radiologic Sonographer
We are seeking a skilled Registered Radiologic Sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support patient care.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and imaging safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Active state license/certification as required by state regulations.
- Current ARDMS certification required (or equivalent specialty certification as applicable).
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of sonography procedures, anatomy, and ultrasound imaging principles.
- Previous diagnostic ultrasound or sonography experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
