Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist with CT experience to perform both Computed Tomography (CT) and diagnostic X-ray procedures. The technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety, administer contrast media when appropriate, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
Administer IV contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Operate CT scanners, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable X-ray equipment as required.
Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission for radiologist interpretation.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain compliance with ALARA principles.
Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), RIS, and PACS.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice, where required.
Current ARRT (R) certification required.
Current ARRT (CT) certification preferred or CT registry eligible based on facility requirements.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of recent CT and diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
Experience administering IV contrast media and performing contrast-enhanced CT studies.
Strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy, CT imaging, patient positioning, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
Experience with PACS, RIS, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
