Radiology Technologist – Acute Care

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services to acutely ill and hospitalized patients while ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality care.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders.
Perform portable and bedside imaging for acute-care patients.
Prepare and position patients safely for examinations.
Operate radiology equipment and ensure high-quality images.
Follow radiation safety and infection-control procedures.
Assist with imaging of patients with complex or urgent conditions.
Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond appropriately.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification and active state license as required.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Previous acute-care or hospital radiology experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.
Experience with portable and bedside X-ray.
Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
Strong radiation-safety awareness.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
Attention to detail and image-quality assessment.
Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
