Radiologic Technologist – Acute Care
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care setting. The Radiology Tech will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide timely and accurate diagnostic services.
Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure proper image quality.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any concerns.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with established protocols, when applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging studies and patient information.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist license or certification.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills.
• Previous acute care, hospital, or diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
