Radiology / Cardiology / Ultrasound Tech – General
We are seeking a skilled General Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide accurate, high-quality imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general and diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Evaluate images for technical quality and obtain additional views as needed.
Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures when required.
Maintain and perform routine checks on equipment and report technical issues.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation while following safety and infection prevention standards.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Current ARDMS certification or equivalent as applicable.
Current state license or registration as required.
Current BLS certification.
Previous general ultrasound or hospital imaging experience preferred.
Strong technical, communication, attention-to-detail, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$66.06 - $70.94/hour
