Radiology / Cardiology / Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Summary

Perform diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Operate specialized equipment, ensure image quality, maintain patient safety, and follow radiation protection standards.

Responsibilities

Perform radiology, cardiology imaging, and nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols.
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic examinations.
Operate and monitor imaging and nuclear medicine equipment safely.
Administer or assist with radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as authorized.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to changes or adverse reactions.
Maintain radiation safety and infection-control standards.
Review images and study quality and repeat examinations when necessary.
Document procedures, patient information, and imaging results accurately.
Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiovascular Imaging, or related program.
Appropriate ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS, or relevant certification as applicable.
Current state license or registration as required.
Previous experience in radiology, cardiology imaging, or nuclear medicine preferred.
BLS certification required.
Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Pay Rate
$82.72 - $87.60/hour
