Radiology / Cardiology / Mammography Technologist

Position Summary

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in radiology, cardiology, and mammography while ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. Prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis.

Responsibilities

Perform X-ray, mammography, and applicable cardiology imaging procedures.
Prepare, position, and educate patients before examinations.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established standards.
Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols.
Assess patient history and identify relevant contraindications or concerns.
Ensure accurate image quality and repeat studies when necessary.
Assist with contrast administration and monitor patients as applicable.
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Report significant or urgent findings to the appropriate healthcare team.
Clean, organize, and maintain imaging equipment and work areas.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or related imaging program.
Appropriate certification/registration such as ARRT, ARDMS, or applicable cardiology/mammography credential.
Current state license or certification as required.
Mammography experience and certification preferred.
Previous radiology, cardiology, or mammography experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.

Pay Rate
$71.36 - $76.24/hour
