Description:
Technologist must be proficient at supporting Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures utilizing single and biplane radiography units. Call requirements will be 1 weekend a month and 1 - 2 days of call/ week. We do have 2 techs on call each shift, a primary and secondary.

Trauma 1 and Stroke Center. Do outpatient and inpatient procedures, adults, geriatrics, and peds. All patient acuities.
Technologist must be proficient at supporting Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures utilizing single and biplane radiography units.
Neuro and Body procedures. Y90, TIPs, chemo embo, UFE, PAE, trauma, stroke, carotid stent, drains, biopsies, LPs, kyphos, lines, ports, filters, peripheral stents, AV fistula declot/stenting, PE/DVTs.
Interventional Radiology department. Utlilizing fluoro (Siemens) and US (Phillips). Trauma 1 and Stroke Center. Do outpatient and inpatient procedures, adults, geriatrics, and peds. All patient acuities. McKesson PACS. Cerner Powerchart. 2 Biplane rooms. 2 Single Plane rooms. Dedicated US room. CT procedure room is run by CT techs. 5 Body IR physicians and 3 Neurointerventional physicians. 9 IR techs when fully staffed. 2 techs on call each night, one main and one back up.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs.
This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
Essential Job Functions:
(1) the ability to work at Client’s assigned work location throughout the full term of the contractual engagement,
(2) the ability to work the substantial time of the assigned shift,
(3) the ability to take call,
(4) the ability to work assigned weekends, and
(5) the ability to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.
Pay Rate
$81.77 - $86.65/hour
